So the NCAA would be happier with them if they DID affect the outcome of a game??

A hundred thousand people making the same prop bet is serious money.

Gambling is way too risky. I really can’t afford to lose anything.

I’m trying to figure out how you can find ENOUGH sports events to lose 16 million bucks on.

So point shaving is still okay?

    Doesn’t affect the outcome, right?

Prop bets are dangerous…for the players. College athletes are being booed or getting threats when they miss a free throw or commit a foul. People need to realize that those things are part of the game. The kids are not trying to ruin your life. They don’t have to; if you are wasting money on every little action, you are doing it yourself.

There was a reason why collegiate and professional sports have always opposed gambling getting anywhere near their operations.

Additionally, prop bets on individuals are an insane idea. It’s one thing to get several players to shave points, it’s quite a simpler one to get a single player to do it. Dumb, dumb, greedy, and dumb.
