I thought some sheet metal guy from Philly got one of OJ’s Heisman’s at a 1999 auction where some of OJ’s stuff was sold to go toward the civil penalty. However, I understand a lot of the items sold were fakes or duplicates though as OJ had a lot of his friends and lawyers hide his stuff when they began to suspect that the jury in Santa Monica were going to side against the Juice…….. I also understand that those who have represented OJ are going to do their best to make sure that Fred Goldman does not get any of OJ’s estate if they can help it. Talk about animosity from beyond the grave…..

That’s the problem with giving awards to those still living. Do you honor the intent of the award and let it stand in recognition of a singular feet, or withdraw it to avoid association with a scoundrel?
