Is his new FFL a headhunter or a pigmy? Or, since he is discribed as tiny, maybe he is a pigmy headhunter.I thougth headhunters was more a south american thing?
Comic fans—Ever notice that all bare chested heroes always seemed to be missing nipples? It must have been family values in force, even back then—any comments on this, fans?!
A lot of Disney Duck fans in the jungle today. That heavy handed government censorship of comics books had a great deal to do with the way the comic art was presented. Remember, it was a time of old Joe McCarthy and the Comics Code Association seeking perverts and commies under every comic book shelf and kids beds in the USA! Even Lucy and Ricky who were married had to sleep in separate beds!
Couldn’t help thinking of this verse as I read today’s strip:“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:19-21

didn’t an earlier strip say that Tarzan didn’t see man as superior to jungle animals? if so, why’d he save a man and kill the panther?

Maybe his new pal knows what happened to the pilot. The panther wasn’t about to tell.
