Way, way, down, beneath the alligator’s comfort zone…. And resurface on the other side of Big John’s boat for a little swamp surprise!

From panel one, the bow seems to be cutting through that water at a moderate speed. How fast can Tarzan swim that he can drag LaSalle underwater and put that much slack in the rope? This must be Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan.

Look at how close that knife is to St. Jacque’s throat. Wouldn’t it be ironic if Tarzan accidentally sliced St. Jacque’s jugular vein open with it while trying to rescue him?

I meant St. Jacque, not LaSalle ,in my first comment.

Ol’ Jimbo St. Jacques probably needed a good bath after all of that “Rancid Bear Grease” he’s been rubbing on for decades! Once again, Tarzan has cheated the ’gators of their hard-earned meal, perhaps LaSalle will offer himself to them next week? :)> GimlaOnADietAGowa!!

And meanwhile Tarzan’s boat goes crashing ashore somewhere. Nice jacknife dive, legs should be more parallel but will give 8/10.
