. . . I didn’t know, that mother rabbits actually bury their babies underground, when she leaves. My husband found this out, when he was mowing the grass and saw a brown spot. He lifted it, to discover some baby bunnies! Seems, the mother rabbit does this to keep snakes and other animals away from her nest. It was nice, seeing rabbits in our yard that year. :)
Rabbits don’t eat all of their droppings just special ones that have undigested nutrients in them. They look moist where as the normal poo looks dried.
