The Eagle Creek fire is still raging in the Gorge, our deck and everything else is covered with ashes and the air is in the Red Zone.

The firefighters are intent on saving the Multnomah Falls Lodge and two more towns have been evacuated.

So far, we’re safe, and the wind should die down tonight with west winds starting tomorrow. That will push the fire back on itself.

I hope they throw the idiot who started this (with a firework) in jail and forget about him. They have a person on interest, so they know who did it!
