Desperate times call for desperate measures. I don’t want to spend my remaining days living like this (you can look up the symptoms of diverticulitis if you want to know why I dare not make any long trips anymore). On the advice of the nurse who makes house calls on me, I have stopped taking my arthritis pain meds (Relafen one week and Voltaren (Diclofenac) the next week). It’s going to be painful for a while but it will be worth it if my colon settles down.

If Goat Komix has a goal to drive down the number of comments and the people making them with their constant “improvements”, then they are succeeding beyond their wildest expectations. Yesterday saw only 14 comments and today, my comments will make it a paltry 9. Sheesh. How many of our daily commentators were permanently exiled to the loading dock? Heavens to Murgatroyd.

6. My kitty, Tabby, was literally born in a barn in southeast Ohio sometime this month 14 years ago making him a very Senior Cat. (Tabby is the bottom kitten, his female sibling soon went back to barn life.)
