“Non-contact” vet visits have been a thing for a while, Chesney – & no, you don’t have to get stuffed thru the mail slot!

My sis suffers from occasional severe vertigo, & about a year ago she had an attack while taking her new boss Onyx to the Dreaded V.E.T. When she arrived, she phoned from the parking lot & explained the situation. A tech came out to the car to get Onyx’s carrier & sis’s credit card so sis wouldn’t have to try to walk in, & returned a half hour later with both. Pretty slick.

When Chesney returns from his vet visit I hope sweet Mimieux is visiting the warehouse to offer him a gentle mew, mew (’allo, ’allo) and tender comfort.

Hoo boy, Chesney at the Vet. That sounds like a surefire recipe for disaster! On another note, saw a robin, a rabbit, and a Wilson’s warbler while out walking today.

I saw my first baby Cardinal of the season…you can tell because their beak is black instead of orange. It was flapping it’s wings while Dad fed it sunflower seeds (regurgitated)
