/// Moren Cylux, a great Jedi knight,

had been dared by a Sith Lord to fight.

    Putting faith in The Force,

    he replied, “Yes, of course.”

But he can’t get his saber to light.

When you wear your armor to a no-armor meeting, a scarf just isn’t enough to dress it down so no one notices.

Tristan thought the chiffon scarf would balance out the hard-look of the armor

He’d had the armor dry-cleaned, but didn’t have enough time to completely remove the covering before it came time to pose.

Deprived of his garment of tin/

    His lordship’s surprisingly thin/

    His physique is a fake/

    But give him a break/

He’s a loser and always has been.

Portrait of Christian Louis de Montmorency-Luxembourg (1675-1746), Marshal of France

    Paste (including the quote marks)

"Category:18th-century military people of France" Wikimedia

(syntax supported by the Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, and Brave search engines) in the browser address bar (or search for it using one of those search engines) and choose the first Category: found (DuckDuckGo currently finds its alternate name and requires an extra click), and once there find the text string Christian, and click its link for info and links that point to more info about this roughly jumbo envelope size painting.

Again, a larger strip image is also shown by merely clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #332 (September 9, 2010) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment. I have added a comment there pointing to info about this artist I used to point to here. So far, only work by him used here (2 times total, including this repeat), the May 21, 2012, strip being its first use. GoComics has deactivated the hyperlinks and removed the new lines in my comment there; but, perhaps the text remains informative.
