    So even the professional athletes can’t take a break on the holidays? Good grief. It’s CHRISTmas, not SPORTSmas.

    @templo SUD

    No, for them it is Xmas, the safe, sanitized secular holiday represented by “Happy Holidays.”

    As an ex-LDS Christian I recognize that the whole world doesn’t think in my world-view (or yours.) I think that is their loss but it is how they view things as is their right (well, here in the USA and some parts of the world.)

    Gracias,

    Glenn

    I am confused. The Baby isn’t yet born, but denotes the comment made by thatadad? (Insert Timewarp here)

    Nice to see that Paul knows the true meaning to Christmas.

    The real problem is that 4 of those 5 games aren’t going to get nation wide TV coverage. I can see having 1 game between 2 popular teams, but give everyone else the day off.

    And remember, it’s players, coaches, team staff, refs, security, concession workers, ticket personal, parking attendants, cleaning crews, and who knows who else get stuck having to work on Christmas.

    It’s sad that the true meaning of CHRISTmas is being overlooked.
