Eaastwood was always good in his cowboy movies as the nameless, poncho-donned vigilante.

In this world , blondie, there are too kinds of people. Those who read the comics and those who don’t.

Oh c’mon, he wasn’t THAT bad!

What a memorable role that first one was: A lab assistant who misplaced a white mouse in his jacket pocket!

One of my all time favorite movies…Horton Fenty : “I know you don’t approve, Pop, but believe me, until you’ve had a good cigar and a shot of whiskey, you’re missing the second and third best things in life.”

He was also in Tarantula

The director of “Paint Your Wagon” needed two rough, tough guys who could sing well to play the lead roles. When that proved impossible, he decided he’d have to forgo the singing ability. That’s how Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood got the parts.

To be clear, the movie still has them doing plenty of singing. And Eastwood and Marvin do surprisingly well, all things considered. But it helps that “Paint Your Wagon” is a comedy.

Or, in the two “Any which way but loose” movies- shudder!

Fun fact: Eastwood and Marvin did their own singing, but they dubbed the female lead, because they didn’t like her singing voice.
