Gladys: I love watching my favorite cooking show on our new high-definition television...
Gladys: The food looks so good, it's almost like it's right here in the room with me!
Gladys: Now, if they could only invent smell-avision!
Around 1960 twas a movie called “Aroma-rama” where scents were dispersed throughout the theater in conjunction as to what was on the screen. After a while they all became blended.
About 5 years ago we applied for a patent on a smell device that would be small enough to work with a PC / game unit. Could not find any investors to bring it to market. Felt like Thomas Edison trying to sell the lightbulb concept. “No one wants to buy something like that” was the response we got. So we gave up on it.

Screw smell o vision. When I watch those cooking shows, I want a teleport button. Oh well, I guess maybe my flying car will have one.
