Transcript:
The Born Loser by Art & Chip Sansom Brutus: Hi, son! How was your ball game? Wilberforce: You should have seen the play I made today! Wilberforce: There were runners on first and second and I was playing shortstop... Wilberforce: The batter hit a hard line drive, and both runners took off... Wilberforce: But I leaped and caught the drive, then I touched second base before the runner could get back, and tagged the other runner as he was sliding into the base! Brutus: Oh, my goodness! Do you realize you made the rarest play in baseball - an unassisted triple play! Wilberforce: Yeah...except there were already two outs.

Believe it or not, this happened to me in exactly the same way, except I was what they call the “Short Fielder”, who plays a little way behind second base, and there was already one out. So, even though I tagged the runner from first, there were already 3 outs by then.
