This kid hated P. B. & J., but I hated plain peanut butter even more. The cheese sanwich was also in my most hated club. What I would have given for a pastrami sandwich

To this day, I prefer peanut butter and honey over peanut butter and jelly.

This kid for one.

I tried to work deals with the Mexican and Italians kids at school trading my peanut butter and jelly sandwich for some real food.

The milk’s fine but as a kid I didn’t love sipping a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a straw! The straw would quickly clog up with the sticky peanut butter!

My daily dose of peanut butter never gets infected with jelly. Why ruin perfection?

Chocolate milk is better.

Peanut butter, Jelly and Banana sandwich is the bee’s knees. Belly buster best. BBB. I got my whole family hooked on my BBB’s.

Reminds me of my high school lunches back in the late 60s early 70s except with chocolate milk.

to this day the memory of all those pb&j sandwiches i was forced to eat as a kid still makes me gag…

I pack my lunch everyday. No milk though, I would have to have that Cold and my PB&J room temp. Love me some PB&J with milk at home though! Good call Gladys!

I wonder what Brutus did to get rewarded with a reminder of his childhood favorite lunch? He must have cleaned the garage or something.

I’m guessing, just guessing mind you, kids with peanut and lactose intolerance.

When you teach in elementary school, that’s par for the course.

The first steps of the poisoning of America. Starch, sugar, fructose and lactose. That’s after a breakfast of GMO grains, glyphosate, sugar and lactose. No wonder he’s fat and slow

It’s a good thing Mother Gargle didn’t make your lunch. It would’ve been a peanut butter, jelly and sardine sandwich…

i prefer cream cheese and jelly over peanut butter and jelly.

I guess the son got the good stuff.

But why eat the brown bag?

No argument on the PB&J, as long as it’s made with whole grain bread, chunky peanut butter that’s 100% peanuts (no sugar or other ingredients, thank you) and some good-quality fruit preserves (or maybe honey) in lieu of jelly. As for the carton of milk, pass. Milk in my universe is something you have with cookies or cake, or pour on your cereal, but not an accompaniment to any kind of meal.
