I think its the other way around, Joe. Plasma is mostly water and is the liquid component of blood, which is thicker than plasma. Tomato juice is more watery and thinner than ketchup, and could be said to be a component of ketchup, although they probably use tomato paste or something. So, the juice would be the plasma, and the ketchup would be the blood.

Ketchup is life. Ketchup is its own food group. Ketchup is ambrosia… MMMMMMM, tomato blood on dead animal flesh… I may swoon.
