Helping Hand likes cleanliness. I just hope that’s not the Bates Motel…

That’s the Helping Hand’s mutant brother, the one with an extra finger. He has a criminal record and has never been known to help anybody prepare a meal.

Well, he has to take shower and clean his hand once in a while.

Wait! Its Thing! Thats what he did when the Addams Family ended its TV run..

The hamburger helper without the hand looks creepy

There is nothing to get I fear, Michle.

The hand took off its glove and is taking a shower. That’s it.

That’s it, rotts.

Or maybe it IS a political statement. The face on the glove could be intended symbolize a “ghost,” which would allude to Adam Smith’s “invisible hand.” The fact that the glove is removed suggests that there is a literal, physical entity which truly controls the hand.

Perhaps this simple cartoon is suggesting that supply and demand is no longer a legitimate economic reality.

(As a side note, it’s ironic that the artist chose to use a silhouette for the hand in the shower…which may suggest “who” is truly the “invisible hand’s” puppeteer?)

Oh, too funny! I had to visit google to discover this: President Obama is left-handed. Considering that most people are right-handed, the artist’s choice to use a left-handed glove only adds to the irony.

well, I feel that (without meaning offense) ricjer killed the humor. Sorry if I hurt feelings there. It’s just a comic, don’t read too much into it.

For ricjer: Well, not that I always agree with the President’s policies, but scientists say that right-handed people use the left brain and left-handed people use the right brain so it’s obvious that only left-handed people are in their right minds. (I’m left-handed btw.)

It’s only left-handed if the face is on the palm and not on the back of the hand. My guess is that it is left-handed because its mouth needs to be on the palm or else it would be harder to eat. Plus it would be staring at you all the time while you’re typing if it was on the back of your hand and, really, who wants that?

Is that enough extra unneeded BS for everyone? OK, move along.

You didn’t mention how the wall the sink is on is angled, and how the shower is attached to the wall, not resting on the floor. Could you derive what the metaphysical implication of a floating shower are in relation to an unsquare room? XD

i guess we all should have remembered the Hamburger Helper Helping Hand is wearing a glove…but seeing this is a wee bit disturbing…LOL

I’ve always heard that one hand washes the other. Where’s the other hand?

And what about the sound of one hand clapping? Does anybody have any good answers?
