I’d wonder what Jay Ward would think, but he’s been dead 20some years.

Went to IMDB to double check the year he died and in the “known for” section, it had 4 movies made 8 or more years after he died, though all were based on his characters.

Oh, and I expect he’d be ok with this.

I always thought I saw Wassamatta, but wikipedia shows it as Wossamotta U. Also, to be really picky, Rocky and Bullwinkle are both alumni, but each is an alumnus, as Mr. Peabody would also tell you.

I can’t believe so many of you actually liked that show. I was not impressed when I was a kid - even less so now.

Bullwinkle’s school colors were Pomegranate and Puce.

Remember Cecil the seasick sea-serpent with Beanie, Uncle Captain, Dishonest John and the little yellow duck that was looking for its real Muddoo ?

I painted a mural for my kids- started off with a seaside - ship that had Peter Pan and Cap. Hook and Beeny Boy and Cecil the Seaserpent, etc , went on to cityscape with tenements with Alvin and chipmunks, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Topcat and many Disney cats and dogs etc. My photos are rather faded, but I hope the kids still remember them. There was a whole lot more as they wrapped around the whole room;-) Kids napped while I was painting (many weeks).
