Went to the IKEA store in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area in July 2013. You know you’re in for an experience when they hand you a MAP to the store as soon as you enter. Upstairs to the restaurant then fun, fun, fun (!)
It isn’t hard to put together furniture kits (I have several Sauder pieces, and a few IKEA) but you do have to follow the directions. These two don’t appear to be up to the task.
It still doesn’t get any better than the Argyle Sweater! Thanks for all the continued laughs, buddy! Keep up the great work – I need to throw out my back again!
Flat pack furniture is a doddle to assemble. Just stop and think what it is supposed to look like, and think of what mechanics are necessary to support the product. Trying to decipher the badly translated written instructions is pointless. Common sense is all you need. Go for it and build on!

I’m putting together three pieces of bathroom furniture from Ikea now. it may not be the HIGHEST-quality furniture, but it’s solid and we saved a lot.
Plus, the instructions make assembly so easy, even a chimp could do it.

IKEA stuff often requires a special wench to assemble. I don’t think she’s the right one.

I don’t know why people complain that IKEA has complicated assembly procedures. I’ve never had any problems.

If you don’t use the map, you are probably going to walk through the entire store. To use the map, a compass really helps.
