There’s a Canadian TV series called “How It’s Made.” One of the sections was about how curling stones are made. Who knew there was so much science to a piece of stone?
I’m glad you folks like curling. And I don’t mean to make fun of it. It’s just that, for me personally, I find it to be the most boring thing that I’ve ever seen. And I watch golf on TV!!! But, what the heck, we all have our likes and dislikes. Don’t take offense to what I dislike and I won’t take offense to yours.

I forget what you call it, but you aren’t supposed to touch it after you send it down the ice.

I’m guessing it’s like bowling; fun to play, boring to watch.

It’s always a problem when the rock weighs more than you do! (Of course, they almost NEVER pick up the rock to throw it…)
I’ve never curled, but I LOVE watching it. It’s one of the few sports that actually requires skill, accuracy and strategy. (And geometry!)
