So sweet, I have always had great attachments to my animals and it was always hard when I lost them. Most have been dogs but I have three cats that are still in my heart. Well two in my heart and one still in the house but I know when I loose her she will still be in my heart. Thank you for honoring the pets we have all had.
This presaged the ending of a truly original and memorable comic. It’s interesting to recall the vilification dumped on Peterson when he included gay people (or even just real people) in his strips. 10 years later and we have the SCOTUS permitting any sex marriage. It’s funny that the BP went out with a “Let’s go exploring” theme ala Calvin and Hobbes. As did for that matter the Boondocks strip. In that case, I think Macgruder just ran out of gas.
