Thanks for the date! (I must have a few years on you; horn bands were big when I got out of school — Chicago, BS&T, Ten Wheel Drive, etc.) (10WD – where I first heard Bill Watrous…)
If you are going to take up a band instrument to become rich and famous, I would suggest the [DON’T DO IT! JUST DON’T] because it’s the one you hear on more big-time rock recordings.
Lennie, I don’t have a copy of it right now, but there’s a photo of my father as a kid. His trombone is almost taller than him! LOL!
Hurry up, IRS, soon as my freaking refund is deposited, I’m having my sister pack up my stuff at her house and send it! All my records and photos finally!

You should’ve taken up the cowbell. Everyone wants more cowbell.

You must be famous if I’ve heard of you, and you’re clearly rich enough to be giving up that big cartoonist money – QED.
The Beatles would have been better with a horn section, though.

It took you how long to realize the Beatles didn’t have a trombone player??? Too funny!!

Just be glad you didn’t pin your hopes and dreams on a tambourine

You spent all those hours practicing when all you had to do was get a guitar and learn three chords! Voilà, rich and famous!

If the Beatles would have had Ginger with them, they would have been even more famous.
