Having worked in customer service, “venting” to your customers usually isn’t good for your customer base!

Lennie: There’s 7 days to next week, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark out, and we’re wearing sunglasses. Your Loyal Readers: Hit it!

Apologies to The Blues Brothers, But I am guessing you can belt out a mean version of Sweet Home Chicago, my comic friend

Was she complaining that the trombone was phallic, or appreciative of the fact?

So believably and sadly true I’m having hard time even smirking about it. Worse, you know her coffee klatch stirred the thought for a good long time. Or until the cake was gone. All of it.

It so irritates me when ONE person complains about something and everything changes because of that. That one person can not read the comic ~ why ruin it for everyone else. I’m sure if she looks hard enough (and she probably does), she can find lots of things to fuel that complaint.

Venting in your strip is way more cost effective than therapy!
