If you have allergies, you’ll understand that his statement in the last panel is an “understatement”. This year is supposed to be worse than normal, and it has gotten off to a horrible start. Damn allergies.

My own allergy kicks in before anyone else’s I know of. But then, it’s done trying to kill me before everyone else’s start up. I really miss the days before I had the allergy. Six years ago, I couldn’t have done this cartoon.

As I posted tonight on the “Dilbert Classics” strip …

A foolproof method to keep oneself from sneezing?

    Say “Shut up” repeatedly.

Seriously—for some reason, it works for me every time.

My eyes water. Water like crazy. Like a waterfall. Sometimes even when I’m inside. But that usually happens at work….. So I guess that means….I am allergic to WORK!!!! . LOL

I can imagine someone being allergic to something at work; I used to work with a certain kind of foam rubber. I would have an allergic reaction to it for a few days, and then adjust to it and stop sneezing. But when I was taken off that job and given another without the presence of that foam rubber, I would lose my immunity; when I resumed working with the foam rubber again, I resumed my continuous sneezing in its presence.
