I am young enough to remember the days prior to this equipment. Kids in iron lungs. Crippled by polio. Docs that did home visits. Ether as an anesthetic!! Then some doc did a heart transplant….another created a mechanical heart…..a friend of mine had a portable heart pump to assist his failing heart………things that use to be a death sentence are now defeated by technology and knowledge. Enjoy the extension……
When my dad died, the hospital sent a bill addressed to him for his stay less than a week later. My mother wrote on it and subsequent collection notices, “Deceased. Return to sender.”
Question is which hyaena you want to crack your dead body’s bones to suck the marrow in the end. You can leave everything to the church, even corporate lawyers don’t stand a chance against ancient evil.
