Just seeing this but had to comment. I’m sure on-going roadworks here in Nassau, Bahamas (two years now?) were a factor for voters in last month’s recent general elections which resulted in a terrible loss for the ruling political party. Although badly needed, and never done at such a wide scale, voters were fed up with road closures, detours, businesses closing, loss of jobs etc.

Sounds like Pinellas County, FL. Every DOT project seems to last forever. By the time they get a road widened it’s time to repave it.

I can understand the folks suffering in Road-Work Hell, but I don’t understand how the dog got there.
