I agree. These kids should get something out of it. If they’re injured and can’t play, some schools yank the scholarship so they can’t even finish school. I think they should really look into this. I’m pretty sure they can afford to give players a reasonable salary considering how much time they’re expe ted to put in.
Slavery is compelled labor. Nobody is holding a gun to a kids head compelling him to play football. He voluntarily plays because (1) he genuinely loves the sport, (2) he believes that he will get the best looking women; and/or (3) he sees it as a gateway to a professional football career wherein he will make millions playing a game while the rest of us “slave” at our jobs earing a fraction of that kids salary.
