I used to get annoyed by celebrities that pushed their own pet projects, usually when it affected them: Michael J. Fox and Parkinson’s, Christopher Reeves and paralysis, and so on. But then I realized there is SO MUCH WRONG out there, people have to “specialize” and concentrate on specific areas because otherwise nothing would get done. You can’t save the rain forests AND protect whales AND fight AIDS AND sweatshops in Indonesia… Sure, you can, like me, help out in many areas like that, but you can’t lead, if you know what I mean. It’s frustrating, but sometimes you have to pick a cause and stick to it, and let folks like Keef keep the faith.
