Actually, if you read history, you find that civility is a semantic nicety used to make us feel as though we invented the lack of “intelligent debating” that we see today. It’s been like this for a looooong time, folks. We just have cameras rolling all of the time to capture those moments we all cherish so much. Of course, our knuckleheads more than compare favorably to those of times past. Either way, here comes the circus. Pull up a chair and watch the hijinks!
