If you put an old TV at the side of the road with a ‘free’ sign on it, no one will take it. But if you put a sign saying “For Sale” someone will steal it instantly!

I doubt people are buying an airline ticket just for a 50% chance of losing it. Cities have electronics recycling bins for that computer junk.
