This whole R&J sequence keeps reminding me of a dress rehearsal back in high school in England when Juliet stumbled out of the balcony (it was more like some steps up to a french window) and Romeo quipped “what twit through yonder window breaks”.

    I wish it would stop

Argh! I hate that. You’re in the middle of a good movie you’ve never seen before, and right during the important part, the EBS comes on and tells me there’s a thunderstorm in Miami, which is nowhere NEAR me.

And now I’ll never know what that guy said that made that chick jump off a bridge after setting fire to her house.

    sigh

richardelguru: I heard another tale of a professional production of Julius Caesar. The actor playing Brutus missed his cue to walk on stage by twenty seconds, leaving another actor alone with the audience. After a little while of waiting, he finally announced “Ubique procreatus Brute?”. The rough translation of which, being somewhat naughty, I leave as an exercise to the student.

I have VHS tapes of TV shows I recorded years ago. Occasionally I get to see EBS alerts about weather from fifteen years ago. That is kind of the opposite of helpful.

Here’s a quick, informal poll of you all:

I’m nearly out of copies of book 2, “I Can Has Empire?” and running low of book 1, “We Are Not Amusing.”

Most people who are buying them nowadays seem to be buying them as part of a three-book bundle, getting caught up from the beginning.

So, what I’m wondering is, would it be worth it for me to go back to the printers and get another run of book 1 and 2, or should I just cut the price on my current stock, blow them out, and go to the printer for a new omnibus edition with books 1-3 plus some new stuff?

Basically, would you rather have three individual books (around 70 pages) for $6.99 each, or one omnibus 212 page book for $12.99?

The new stuff, by the way, would be in the individual books, too, so you won’t lose out on it if I have to go the individual route.

And a reminder that I STILL have discounted pre-sales of limited edition signed and numbered copies of book 4, “Suffragettes Gone Wild!” at http://bit.ly/17lhCW
