It’s OK for you, Vicky – you can close Marks & Spencer’s and have a private shop. The rest of us have to endure the Christmas crowds and the Xmas masses.

Christmas was originally a celebration to mark the returning of the Sun which was hijacked by the Church. It’s the Media and the Church that rams it down our throats, not TRUE Christians.

Wasn’t Christ supposed to be born a few months further on?

I had not realized that the Royals had developed telekinetic powers enabling them to levitate telephone receivers.

Is QV going to launch a shopping strike in the US next? If so, I wonder what her first Target will be.(I also wonder how many will get the joke.)

Or springtime. Basically, they would be in the fields to protect newborn lambs and their mothers from predators.

From what I read in Luke 1, if you do the math, Jesus was probably born either in May or June. Check it out.

Actually, the modern Christmas is closer to the feast of Sol Invictus (the undefeated sun) than the Saturnalia, but it does have aspects of both.

By the way, my new novel is now out. Search Amazon, B&N, and Lulu.com for “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Columbine.”
