He’s going to try again this weekend. At this rate, he may get enough money for a real rocket.

I have a nagging suspicion the guy doesn’t really believe the earth is flat. He claims to be a recent convert to the flat earth “movement” and has attempted to launch himself before (with results about what you’d expect – he spent two weeks in a walker.)

Methinks he just wanted a funding source and decided, probably very correctly, that the flat earthers are really really gullible.

All he’s going to prove is that idiots can be flat.

There was something in the article about using a balloon for something next. Seeing that balloons have achieved altitudes higher than that planned for his rocket, that would have been a logical first step.

My favorite thing I read: he said he doesn’t trust science…says the man who built a rocket. Let that sink in for a minute.
