    Pab,

McDonald’s is an Irish name. Scottish names begin Mac, Irish names begin Mc. The Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland would know this.

I am not a seafood fan, but like the meat pies and sausage rolls to be found at a local fish-n-chips shop in Dunoon, Scotland (“Ferry Fish Bar”?). They wrapped them in newspaper, and the grease oozed right through. Not strictly Scottish food, but no way was I eating haggis. Oh, and what we called “lamb-burger”: “beefburger” was surely false advertising.

As a side-effect, because this was the 80s and due to the inability to test for Mad Cow Disease, I am unable to donate blood. I could go any minute!
