Simple solution – “Sorry guys, my birthday was three days ago”.
I thought the point was to avoid the embarrassment of an office birthday party. Is it really less embarrassing to HAVE one, but on the wrong day? What am I missing?
What ever happened to the old “common decency to respect my wishes” thing? :-s
