Yes, maybe she is setting him up, but he didn’t want to go shopping in the first place, so it’s not a great way to let him look good. I wouldn’t be pleased either. I have a friend that I have met up with at various long distances and she then tells me she’s arranged to spend a day with someone else (I’m included) that I’ve never met before and have to listen to their gossip about people I don’t know. I find it a bit rude to not have been told ahead of time.
