I’ve done it too….but Maizing that’s when a friend told me that also. So now I am more careful…our area color coded them, so I found out the “color codes”.
In PA, USA, our State Foresters take care of that. I also work in one of their “sister” agencies so I know the Bureau of Forestry fairly well for over 30 years. TRUST ME, they don’t just “wiily nilly” cut down the trees. They KNOW what they are doing.
