If I throw the ball less than 3 feet, my dogs look at it and then me as if to say “Get it yourself”. And I have to.
Bark loudly, to get the ball rolling.
Mine are getting very old and will run after the ball, give it a sniff, but won’t bring it back. I have to walk over and pick it up myself. Good exercise for me too, I guess.
Maybe that’s his revenge on you for having to stop at every tree to read your doggy gossiping, p-mail!
