Never been to ‘Land, but have been to ’World twice; once to take my kids, again to take my grandson. All in all a good experience. Expensive, yes, but so is a really great meal in a posh restaurant. You don’t do it very often.
Having grown up close enough to Disneyland to hear the train whistle, it is no big deal to me. I haven’t paid to go to D’land for many years. We’ve been there for company bashes that were paid for by the companies we worked for, and we went to Disney’s CA Adventure at the employee pre-opening party (my SIL worked there), but there’s no way I’m going to pay their prices.
I went to Disneyland as a child soon after it first opened, and it was truly magical. I don’t want to go back, because I’m sure it’s changed. I just want to keep the memories.

Well, everybody knows THAT! That’s why I go to Knott’s. Also, I need a second mortgage to pass through Ditzyland’s hallowed gates… :-)
