smart! a cartoonist/musician buddy of mine did something like that. Used to do really nice images, and then push them until they were ruined. I asked him why the first time I saw it. He said he learned it from a teacher at University. If you don’t push a piece too far, then you don’t know how far too far is, and you wouldn’t push it far enough.
Sunday school today, teen said she couldn’t “draw”. Told her a friend once said she couldn’t draw a straight line. I reminded her there is nothing natural about a straight line. I then told the teen to use her imagination to draw the lion. It came out rather well! I brought it home with me because she was going to throw it out.
