I think the care Will takes with the nature scenes tells a lot about his love for his surroundings.
I agree with @jay_dallas. The care he takes with the landscape work let the reader understand how important it is to his characters. It’s like if we are aware of it, then they certainly are. Beautiful.

Regrets, I’ve had a few. But, then again, too few to mention… especially when you have no bread to feed the ancient dinosaur.
