Nice realistic-looking woodpile. Presumably he knows perfectly well they are behind the corner of the house, since there has surely been some giggling while they were making the snowballs.

Dad knows better. He is coming around the house behind them.

I also think he knows what’s waiting for him. And will pretend to still fall for it, nonetheless :)
