I especially loved the love triangle between the ketchup, mustard and relish…

    What makes a book?

“noun- A set of written, printed, or blank pages fastened along one side and encased between protective covers.- An e-book or other electronic resource structured like a book.- A printed or written literary work.”

Don’t think Spud is going to win this one or what?

The way to a book report is through Spud’s stomach, it seems.

With appropriate descriptions and opinions on the foods’ taste, texture, variety, acceptance by people, especially his classmates, it could be a very good opinion piece, but sadly, l must agree, it is not an appropriate book report. However, an analysis of a cookbook could be a way to fulfill both objectives……

Great works of literature are often not recognized as such in their own time. Only the ages will tell.

Mirriam-Webster defines book as “a set of written sheets of skin or paper or tablets of wood or ivory.” So technically Spud could be correct! It’s her fault for not specifying a minimum number of pages for the book to count.

I think reading an actual cookbook might be too emotional for Spud.

I wonder how much I spent on Cliff’s Notes when I was in school when I had a book report assignment?
