“noun- A set of written, printed, or blank pages fastened along one side and encased between protective covers.- An e-book or other electronic resource structured like a book.- A printed or written literary work.”
Don’t think Spud is going to win this one or what?
With appropriate descriptions and opinions on the foods’ taste, texture, variety, acceptance by people, especially his classmates, it could be a very good opinion piece, but sadly, l must agree, it is not an appropriate book report. However, an analysis of a cookbook could be a way to fulfill both objectives……
Mirriam-Webster defines book as “a set of written sheets of skin or paper or tablets of wood or ivory.” So technically Spud could be correct! It’s her fault for not specifying a minimum number of pages for the book to count.

Great works of literature are often not recognized as such in their own time. Only the ages will tell.
