Yeah, this explanation for things isn’t entirely winning me over either, because all Sid’s story’s done is provide a motive for Lei to leave independently altogether. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if Lei proves to be the real “mastermind” of sorts behind all of this…but we’ll see.
