If ya can’t take the heat…
The heat is one thing, but this suffocating humidity is killing me.
That’s why some of us Northeners stay in the north (North Europe, in my case).
It has been one of the coldest Julys on record here in Edmonton. It finally got above 20C today and it feels warm.
I’ve been in the South since ‘91, and it ain’t the heat, it’s humidity that goes with it.
Damn Yankees…
I can just hear Deputy Joe Bob down at the end of the street there: “You in trouble, boy!”
What’s that guy thinking running down the blacktop barefoot. No wonder he’s screaming.
Hot Flash!
Due to air conditioning, I am forced to suffer from hypothermia in the office because of the yankee wannabes. If you are a true Southerner, you can handle the heat and humidiity to a degree. You do not need room temperature to be in the 60’s.
The Born Loser had the perfect word for southern summer weather: Muggly.
