They had color in 1898?
It’s the Beverly Hillbillies conundrum. Yeah, it LOOKED “better” in color, but the tone was wrong. Plus, it wasn’t funny when everyone got colors. Maybe that was the writers. They should have told the writers to keep writing for black and white.
