Sabbath comes from the Hebrew word for “Rest”. The Sabbath usually meant , as Nabuqudriuzhur pointed out,Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. The first and last days of each of the three major feasts were also a Sabbath, also every 7th year there was a Sabbath Year.
We aren’t so legalistic to say that one can only worship God on Saturday for Shabbat but a Sabbatical rest for someone who pratices the dark arts is a contradiction.
