When I was a kid, I was searching with some neighborhood kids for four leaf clovers. I found a few with five. I don’t remember any change in luck, but it brought a few groans of “What? Another?” from those who hadn’t found a four leaf one yet.
Well, I don;t get the Friar O’Tuck part other than Robin Hood was English not Irish. I see also that this was first published on St. Patrick’s Day 1968.
