I know a lot of women who are dragons.

You’re suppose to be a dragon slayer, not a dragon lover.

I took my troubles down to Madame Rue You know that gypsy with the gold-capped tooth She’s got a pad down on Thirty-Fourth and Vine Sellin’ little bottles of Love Potion Number Nine

I told her that I was a flop with chicks (*) I’ve been this way since 1956 She looked at my palm and she made a magic sign She said “What you need is Love Potion Number Nine”

She bent down and turned around and gave me a wink She said “I’m gonna make it up right here in the sink” It smelled like turpentine, it looked like India ink (*) I held my nose, I closed my eyes, I took a drink

I didn’t know if it was day or night I started kissin’ everything in sight But when I kissed a cop down on Thirty-Fourth and Vine He broke my little bottle of Love Potion Number Nine

No, it was the other way around: the Dragon fell in love with the Donkey…and it was “Shrek”. (Leave it to me to forget the Donkey’s name or how that affair turned out…but that’s par for the course, as I didn’t like that movie very much.)

The donkey’s name was Donkey.

Happy V-Day

In love, Rodney formed the group Slayer. Which recorded the heavy metal version of LP #9 and burned up the charts, scaled to new heights and was followed up by “Dragon The Line.” Renamed “loverboy” the Group performed “Knights in White Satin” live at the Reptilecon held at the ID Unconventional Center to all snouts raised in flame. Sadly, success tailed off when the buying public flew to a new group, The Flintstones. Bereft at the loss of his love, Rodney still keeps a scale model of his love in his castle.

Dragons are so hot!

Way to go BC13–Good one indeed!

Yeah, that’s right…Donkey was named Donkey (he had a stint later as “Stallion, Baby!”).

I wonder if Donkey was ever the opening act for freeholder1’s group “Slayer” or “Loverboy”? :)
