They are busy finishing off the meal you left for Santa.

I work in retail and completely agree with the comments regarding “pillaging.” In past years, we have even had people trying to get in after we have closed!

Neither do I prfesser. If I must shop, I will do it on line.

So unbelievable. where would they find a parking spot for their war machines this time of year?

Grog and prf, killers of Black Fridays. Founders of bleak Mondays for the locals.

Heck, the best way to meet people you haven’t seen in ages is to go to Walmart for a couple hours. EVERYONE will eventually come by.

In true pillage, the plunder is free and mastercard bills don’t show up at your door the next month. So I’d say the term pillage is wrong.

Stampede.

Melee.

Onslaught.

But not pillage.

freeholder1 all it really means is that I do all my shopping before the Christmas rush. Even when grocery shopping, I prefer to do it when most everyone else isn’t.

And I don’t do my Christmas shopping at Wal-Mart. My family & friends deserve better than that for Christmas. And things are cheaper at Wal-Mart because they are made cheaper. I would not buy anything of value there.

Avoid the crowds - shop WalMart at 6 AM - no-one was around, hardly. Managed to get 2 lbs of butter and 2 pr shoes…
