OK Now I’m gonna divulge it: My original surname was Fink, just like hundreds of thousands of other people. I legally changed my name partly because people thought I was making a joke when I introduced myself. That wasn’t the only reason I changed my name, but it’s such a relief that I did..I realize the epithet probably came about because someone name Fink crossed a picket line, but couldn’t you all think of another insult for addressing the king? Like “Smith”
It’s so easy to bash the current president for the troubles of the day. When ‘Bush-es the not so fiscally conservative’ were in office I looked to the past as saw the begining of money waste with….Reagan.
There’s a number of persons with last name of Fink in our area also. Plus Hamburger. Comedy comes with some of the marriages – Roan and Sorril Nutt and Bolt to name a few.
I think it’s important to vote; however, it seems that the newly elected have optimistic plans but the system suffocates their ideals. Maybe we need to tweak the system a little, or at least abide by the rules.
